Hilton Helsinki Airport Hotel

After winning an international competition with the brief to reflect Finnish culture and design, Doos set out to achieve luxe the Finnish way. The design is based on the Sibelius monument in Helsinki with its round shapes and the birch forest that surrounds it. The hotel layout is based on the form of the circle and strives to achieve good spaces between the circles. There is mainly Finnish design furniture creating a somewhat austere but still sophisticated structure without abundance. The hotel has been on the top 10 of European Hiltons for many consecutive years.
